"Regulation of (QRK) No. 15/2023 on the Civil Service Admission Procedure".

๐Ÿข Office for Good Governance - The Office of the Prime Minister, in cooperation with the Organization "Voice of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians", "Terre des hommes" and "HEKS" have organized the discussion table of ๐Ÿ“‘ "Regulation of (QRK) No. 15/2023 on the Civil Service Admission Procedure".
๐Ÿ’ฌ At this round table, the mechanism for encouraging and promoting employment for the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities in the Republic of Kosovo was promoted, examining the challenges and achievements so far. ๐Ÿ“‘ It was emphasized that, despite the current results, the adoption of this regulation is necessary because the existing law did not clearly specify the way to achieve the 10% quota for marginalized ethnic communities.
๐Ÿง‘‍โš–๏ธ Now, there is a legal basis that allows special proclamations for non-majority communities, such as Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians living in Kosovo. This affirmative measure will enable our institutions to have new staff from these communities, promoting intercultural diversity and reducing discrimination and prejudice in the workplace. Currently, out of #30 thousand civil servants, only #113 are from non-majority communities. Based on this regulation, there will be not only ordinary positions, but also decision-making positions. ๐Ÿ™Œ
๐ŸŽฏ NGO Voice of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians, through various programs within the Women's Employment, Education and Empowerment Program, are constantly preparing new staff to be ready for the labor market. ๐Ÿง‘‍๐Ÿ’ผDuring the round table, it was emphasized that the Government of Kosovo should also focus on policies that contribute to the well-being of non-majority communities.
