Meeting with the People's Advocate, Mr. Naim Qelaj.

The organization "Voice of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians", represented by Mr. Isak Skenderi, Executive Director, and Mrs. Njomza Uka, Senior Employment Officer had a meeting with the People's Advocate, Mr. Naim Qelaj.

Mr. Qelaj was informed about the activities of the organization and the challenges faced by marginalized communities, the importance of cooperation between civil society, international actors and the Government. Also to fight anti-gypsyism and to support the social inclusion of Roma and other marginalized ethnic communities as well as the problem of employment of young people from these communities.

The People's Advocate has emphasized that the Institution of the People's Advocate will continue to be close to the citizens to listen to their problems. He stressed that co-operation with civil society will be a driver for improving and promoting human rights in the country.
