Economic empowerment of women
The empowerment of women from the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities remains a major challenge for the country and society. Since last year, the Voice of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians has made significant efforts to address gender challenges in economic empowerment, relying on partnerships with other organizations.
The economic empowerment of women is an important tool to support them in the fight against abuse and discrimination within the families and communities where they live. Therefore today Mrs. Floride Kuqaj- woman empowerment officer, in cooperation with the Organization "Incoming Woman" held a meeting with 17 women from the municipality of Gjilan, who will be offered training in the craft of tailoring.
